Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Surveyor to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out land surveys, boundary demarcations, site mapping, layout designs, and other related tasks that support the company's real estate and construction projects.
This role involves both fieldwork and office-based documentation, requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land, topographic, and boundary surveys for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
- Prepare survey plans, maps, and layout drawings in accordance with project specifications and legal standards
- Interpret design drawings and provide accurate site coordinates and levels for construction activities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure survey data aligns with project requirements
- Verify property boundaries and resolve discrepancies through accurate field measurements
- Maintain proper records of survey data, instruments, and project files
- Ensure all surveying work complies with government regulations and industry best practices
- Provide technical guidance to site teams on measurements, alignments, and setting-out operations
Requirements
- OND, HND, or B.Sc in Surveying, Geoinformatics, or a related discipline
- 2 - 5 years of practical surveying experience (preferably in real estate or construction projects)
- Proficiency with modern survey instruments such as Total Station, DGPS, and Auto Level
- Ability to use relevant software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or similar tools)
- Good understanding of land documentation and cadastral processes in Nigeria
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and teamwork
- Physical fitness and willingness to work on field assignments within and outside Enugu State
- Registration with SURCON or progress towards it
