Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to support the end-to-end supply chain process. The Supply Chain Officer will focus on procurement, inventory control, warehouse coordination, and production support. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or field operations environment and be able to manage daily activities efficiently and in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, consumables, packaging, and operational items
• Conduct constant price surveys and advise management on market trends
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with company standards

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Track inventory and maintain optimal stock levels to support production
• Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage, documentation, and FIFO rotation
• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies

Production & Field Support

• Work with production teams to forecast material requirements
• Follow up on supply needs to prevent stockouts or production delays
• Support field operations where necessary to ensure smooth coordination across locations

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc Degree or HND qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience
• At least 2 years in a similar role within a manufacturing or structured field operations environment
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Strong data analysis ability and proficiency in MS Excel
• Proactive, reliable, organized, and able to work independently, especially in field-based environments
• Solid understanding of procurement and inventory management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or supply chain digital tools
