Supply Chain Manager at Onstream Group

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to oversee all procurement, logistics, inventory, and material control activities for a complex, international project. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing these functions to ensure materials and services are sourced, delivered, and managed efficiently while meeting project timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.

Given the complexity of the project and the international nature of procurement, an experienced expatriate professional is recommended for this position to leverage global supply networks and ensure efficient supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy covering procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory control
• Oversee all project procurement activities including vendor selection, negotiation, and management in line with company and client standards
• Manage sourcing of critical materials, equipment, and services for tank construction and associated oil & gas facilities
• Ensure compliance with local and international procurement regulations and standards
• Liaise with engineering, construction, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs and budget
• Establish and maintain supplier performance metrics and evaluation systems
• Supervise the logistics team to ensure timely delivery, clearance, and transportation of imported materials and equipment
• Monitor stock levels and implement efficient inventory management systems to minimize shortages and excess
• Review and approve purchase orders, bid evaluations, and procurement documentation
• Coordinate with project control and finance teams to ensure proper cost tracking and reporting
• Ensure all procurement and logistics activities adhere to company policies and ethical standards
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team to enhance performance and capability
