About the Role
Artee Group is seeking a qualified Supply Chain Management Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor relationships, and inventory control to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct procurement activities for local fresh items and manage new vendor development and negotiation
- Coordinate with existing and new vendors to ensure optimal procurement options and timely delivery
- Implement control mechanisms to minimize wastage and optimize operational efficiency
- Design and implement monthly and weekly purchase strategies with effective cost control methods to manage input costs and inflation
- Negotiate technical and commercial terms with new and existing vendors in accordance with company standards
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports for management review
- Coordinate with stores and maintenance teams for weekly stock checking and procurement requirement planning
- Ensure adequate stock levels at all times to prevent stockouts
- Process purchase order approvals and submissions to selected vendors while ensuring on-time delivery
- Order materials in consultation with shop floor teams to ensure alignment with operational needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal customers

- Understanding of industry standards and document management requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Effective liaison skills with professionals from various disciplines
- Capacity to handle multiple diverse tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Teams, and ERP/Inventory systems
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Personal attributes: outgoing personality, meticulous attention to detail, quick learner
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant supply chain, procurement, or inventory management experience
