Store Officer at J-Six Group

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Store Officer to join J-Six Group in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing stock operations, and maintaining storage facilities to the highest standards of organization and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation
• Monitor and conduct regular inventory checks to compile orders based on par levels and operational needs
• Receive all items and maintain clear, organized records ensuring all reports and invoices are properly filed and stored
• Monitor periodic automatic reorder levels for all food items to ensure stock availability
• Verify all goods have arrived as per purchase agreements, delivery notes, and agreed quantities
• Conduct daily checks on storage facilities' upkeep and hygiene standards
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items
• Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations
• Ensure store requisition forms are signed by personnel collecting goods and entered into the inventory/materials management system
• Post all invoices immediately upon receipt of items
• Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues in accordance with established internal controls and procedures
• Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and supply needs
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
• Work closely with the Procurement team to order and receive items and equipment

Requirements

• Minimum OND qualification
• At least 1 year of work experience in the same or related role (fast food restaurant experience is an advantage)
• Inventory and market requisition knowledge
• Excellent numerical skills and strong communication abilities
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge (required)
• Must live in proximity to the job location
