Store Manager at Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL)

Position Overview

Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL) is seeking a qualified Store Manager to oversee daily store operations at our Jos facility in Plateau State, Nigeria. This role is critical to maintaining product integrity, ensuring efficient inventory management, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Oversee daily store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products
• Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the company's ERP or inventory management system
• Maintain optimal stock levels and prevent overstocking or stockouts
• Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory principles
• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records

Cold Chain Management

• Ensure strict adherence to cold chain protocols for yoghurt, milk, and other temperature-sensitive products
• Monitor and document cold room temperature and humidity levels daily to maintain product integrity
• Implement corrective actions in cases of temperature deviations or equipment failure

Quality, Hygiene, and Safety

• Maintain warehouse hygiene and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Storage Practices (GSP)
• Liaise with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards before dispatch
• Enforce safety protocols for staff working in cold environments
• Ensure proper pest control and housekeeping procedures within storage areas

Logistics Coordination

• Plan and coordinate dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining temperature requirements
• Work with logistics teams to ensure refrigerated vehicles meet required temperature and hygiene standards

Leadership & Reporting

• Supervise and train store staff on inventory handling, cold chain procedures, and safety protocols
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock movement, temperature logs, and store performance
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient store management
