We are hiring a steward who will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene by washing dishes, restocking supplies, setting tables, and assisting guests, while sometimes also managing data or ensuring safety at public events.

Key duties include cleaning equipment, ensuring sanitation, supporting waitstaff, and providing excellent customer service, with roles varying from kitchen support to guest interaction and even union representation.

Responsibilities

Cleaning & Maintenance: Washing dishes, pots, and utensils; sanitizing kitchen equipment, dining areas, and restrooms; disposing of trash.

Setup & Stocking: Setting tables, stocking side stations with cutlery, glassware, napkins, and ensuring food/beverage supplies are replenished.

Guest Service: Greeting guests, seating them, presenting menus, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and answering basic questions.

Kitchen Support: Assisting kitchen staff with unloading stock, preparing garnishes, and ensuring smooth food presentation.

Safety & Compliance: Adhering to health, safety, and sanitation standards, and sometimes enforcing protocols at events.
