Spa Manager (Certified Spa Specialist)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Manager with hands-on expertise in spa treatments and wellness therapies. This role combines leadership and operational management with direct service delivery. The ideal candidate will be both a certified spa specialist and a capable team leader, responsible for overseeing daily spa operations, delivering premium treatments, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced spa treatments such as facials, body scrubs, massages, and skin therapies
• Supervise and coordinate spa staff including therapists, receptionists, and support personnel
• Ensure smooth daily operations and maintain a serene, hygienic, and professional spa environment
• Develop and enforce service protocols, treatment standards, and customer care procedures
• Train, mentor, and evaluate spa staff to uphold service excellence
• Manage appointment scheduling, inventory, and procurement of spa products and equipment
• Handle client consultations, feedback, and conflict resolution with professionalism
• Collaborate with marketing to promote spa services, packages, and seasonal campaigns
• Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and meet revenue and client satisfaction targets
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Education & Certification

• Diploma or degree in Spa Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field
• Certification as a Spa Therapist or Aesthetician (mandatory)
• Additional training in spa management or hospitality (advantageous)
• Health and safety certification (preferred)

Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a spa therapist or aesthetician
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a spa or wellness center
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality treatments and managing spa operations
