Solar System Repairer / Technician

Position Overview

Salpha Energy Limited seeks a dedicated Solar System Technician to join our team in Trade Fair, Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining solar home systems and kits for residential and commercial clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on faulty solar kits and generators
• Install, repair, and maintain solar energy systems in homes and businesses
• Repair electrical panels, wiring, and other components of solar energy systems
• Diagnose problems with solar systems and develop solutions to improve performance
• Replace damaged parts and perform preventative maintenance on solar panel systems
• Consult with clients on product issues and repairs to be carried out
• Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues

Required Qualifications

• SSCE, NECO, GCE, NCE, or OND qualification
• 3-5 years of experience in the solar industry, including installation, maintenance, and repair
• Completion of a solar system training program on repairs and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of solar electrical wiring
• Demonstrated experience with solar PV systems
• Excellent knowledge of solar energy system maintenance and troubleshooting
