Solar Field Engineer

Position Overview

Awoof Berekete seeks a dedicated Solar Field Engineer to ensure that customer installations and repairs are completed promptly and effectively according to company procedures. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality solar energy solutions while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, inverters, batteries, and stabilizers according to standard operating procedures
• Perform routine photovoltaic (PV) system maintenance on modules and batteries
• Identify and resolve deficiencies in PV system installations
• Identify electrical, environmental, and safety hazards associated with PV installations
• Respond to all customer service requests and faulty system reports via the Service Controller
• Ensure proper functioning of products following installation and field service repairs
• Train customers on product functionality and system operation
• Communicate with customers regarding product status after installation and repairs
• Perform additional functions as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum OND (Ordinary National Diploma) qualification in Engineering or equivalent
• 2–3 years of relevant and progressive experience in solar or electrical installation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Expert presentation and interpersonal abilities
