## Title: SME Sales Associate

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of loan products by identifying and pursuing key opportunities
  • Monitor and review loan portfolios regularly to minimize risk
  • Manage and retain relationships with existing clients
  • Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and required documentation
  • Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and loan feasibility
  • Determine applicable ratios and metrics, and establish debt payment plans
  • Communicate with clients to request or provide information as needed
  • Justify approval and rejection decisions and report on them periodically
  • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
  • Update knowledge on loan types and other financial services
  • Maintain and update account records accurately
  • Assess customer needs and explore cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Develop referral networks and maintain relevant industry knowledge
  • Suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to meet quotas

Requirements

  • First degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in SME and personal loan sales, particularly in Microfinance Banks
  • Strong knowledge of retail and SME banking products and services
  • Ability to work with targets and thrive in a performance-driven environment
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service orientation
