## Title: SME Sales Associate
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of loan products by identifying and pursuing key opportunities
- Monitor and review loan portfolios regularly to minimize risk
- Manage and retain relationships with existing clients
- Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and required documentation
- Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and loan feasibility
- Determine applicable ratios and metrics, and establish debt payment plans
- Communicate with clients to request or provide information as needed
- Justify approval and rejection decisions and report on them periodically
- Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
- Update knowledge on loan types and other financial services
- Maintain and update account records accurately
- Assess customer needs and explore cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Develop referral networks and maintain relevant industry knowledge
- Suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to meet quotas
Requirements
- First degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in SME and personal loan sales, particularly in Microfinance Banks
- Strong knowledge of retail and SME banking products and services
- Ability to work with targets and thrive in a performance-driven environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service orientation
