SME Officer at Good Neighbours Microfinance Bank

About the Role

Good Neighbours Microfinance Bank is seeking a dynamic SME Officer to join our expanding team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will play a key role in driving business growth while managing our SME loan portfolio and supporting our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support revenue and profitability goals
• Develop and maintain strategic and marketing plans aligned with Good Neighbours MFB's objectives
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of deals, consistently meeting monthly and quarterly targets
• Provide prompt responses to customer enquiries regarding products and existing accounts
• Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios to ensure timely repayment and mitigate credit risk
• Keep management informed through regular activity reports, including daily call reports and weekly/monthly work plans
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Team Lead

Required Qualifications

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in SME banking within a microfinance institution
• Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing business loans with a quality portfolio
