About the Role

Unilag Microfinance Bank is seeking a dedicated SME Loan Officer to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, managing client portfolios, and driving business growth while maintaining strict credit standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process loan applications from SME clients
• Conduct credit assessments and risk analyses
• Manage a portfolio of SME loans, ensuring timely repayments and minimizing defaults
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
• Meet sales targets and contribute to team goals
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery

Required Qualifications

• Minimum HND or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in SME lending or related field
• Strong understanding of credit principles and risk management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
