SME Loan Officer at Dash Microfinance Bank

About the Role

We are seeking an SME Loan Officer to drive SME loan origination and portfolio growth by sourcing quality customers, assessing creditworthiness, disbursing loans, and monitoring repayment to maintain healthy portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and onboard SME customers; build and manage a strong sales pipeline
• Conduct KYC, site visits, and customer profiling; verify business cashflows
• Perform credit analysis, prepare credit proposals and memos, and present for approval
• Support loan documentation, disbursement, and post-disbursement monitoring
• Manage delinquency through early warning signals, reminders, restructuring support, and recoveries
• Maintain accurate loan files and reports; ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
• Support cross-selling of bank products including accounts, deposits, and digital channels

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in microfinance or SME lending (preferred)
• Strong credit analysis and customer relationship management skills
• Demonstrated field marketing abilities
• Good knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and loan documentation procedures
