We provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological treatment options, surgeries, and birthing/baby delivery services, including Caesarean sections and general surgical procedures such as internal intestinal obstruction repair, hernia correction, and appendectomy.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a qualified Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical Doctor to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical care, performing surgical procedures, managing maternity and gynaecological patients, and providing 24/7 emergency medical support during scheduled shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations and manage antenatal and fertility clinics
• Provide specialized care for obstetric and gynaecological cases
• Independently perform or assist in obstetric and gynaecological surgeries, including Caesarean Sections, fibroid removal, ovarian cyst procedures, appendectomies, and other gynaecological procedures
• Lead daily ward rounds and manage pre- and post-operative patient care
• Provide 24/7 on-site medical support during scheduled shifts and handle obstetric emergencies with precision and speed
• Diagnose and treat patient medical problems, including counselling and appropriate referrals
• Order and interpret laboratory tests
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with nursing and laboratory teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain patient confidentiality and impartiality at all times

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Medical degree with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria
• Proficiency in surgical procedures including Caesarean sections and gynaecological surgeries
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage emergency situations
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethics
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping
