Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in an occupational health nursing role. The Site Nurse will provide essential medical support and healthcare services to staff and contractors at the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to staff in case of accidents, injuries, or illnesses on-site
• Conduct routine medical examinations and health screenings for site employees and contractors
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccinations as required
• Monitor and maintain an adequate stock of medical supplies, drugs, and first aid equipment
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of all staff and incidents
• Participate in health and safety risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and wellness campaigns
• Educate employees on occupational health, hygiene, and preventive healthcare
• Support the implementation of health and safety policies and ensure compliance with occupational health standards
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with external medical facilities for advanced treatment when necessary
• Prepare and submit regular medical reports to management and HSE teams
• Respond promptly to any medical emergencies and participate in emergency response drills

Qualifications and Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in an industrial, occupational health, or remote site environment
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, First Aid, or Basic Life Support (BLS) is an added advantage
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
• Knowledge of occupational health standards and safety regulations
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote or challenging environment
