About the Role

A reputable organization in the hospitality and tourism sector is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and lead their team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise staff by delegating tasks based on employee skills, overseeing performance, and providing constructive feedback
• Train new employees and coach existing staff to enhance their capabilities
• Create and manage shift schedules, monitor employee attendance, and coordinate staffing to meet operational needs
• Ensure the workplace operates efficiently by monitoring daily operations, overseeing inventory, and troubleshooting problems
• Address customer complaints, handle inquiries, and maintain a positive customer experience during your shift
• Ensure the team adheres to company policies, safety guidelines, and legal standards
• Perform administrative tasks including balancing cash drawers, preparing deposits, and communicating with the next shift manager

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 2 – 7 years of relevant experience in a management or supervisory role

• Strong leadership and communication abilities to lead teams effectively and motivate staff
• Quick and effective problem-solving skills to handle conflicts and resolve operational issues
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, delegate effectively, and maintain workflow

Compensation

N90,000 – N100,000 monthly
