Shift-in-Charge – PET Production (Engineer) at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

The Shift-in-Charge will oversee and manage daily PET preform production operations, including Injection and Blow Moulding. This role is responsible for supervising shift teams, ensuring production targets are achieved, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate PET preform production activities (Injection & Blow Moulding) during assigned shifts
• Lead and manage manpower to ensure production goals are consistently met
• Monitor production efficiency, quality, and output through routine checks and reporting
• Plan and oversee mould changes and preventive maintenance of machines, moulds, and utilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production breakdowns
• Enforce adherence to safety, compliance, and quality assurance standards
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and performance among production staff
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and process optimisation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years of proven experience in PET Preform Injection and Blow Moulding operations
• Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting and machine handling
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a shift-based system
