About the Role
Swift Consulting is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients for the position of Service and Aftermarket Deputy Manager at their Lagos branch. This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate technical teams and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily scheduling, dispatch, and execution of service tasks
- Supervise staff and ensure compliance with HSE and company regulations
- Optimize resource allocation (personnel, tools, equipment)
- Review reports including FSRs, warranty claims, attendance sheets, and petty cash
- Track quotations, orders, invoices, and related documents
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers and maintain strong communication
- Audit inventory, supervise spare parts ordering and dispatch, and validate stock reports
- Oversee documentation, HR support, and compliance with policies and safety standards
- Prepare weekly updates and monthly KPI reports
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and timely processing of invoices
- Promote a strong safety culture through regular briefings and enforcement of HSE practices
- Recommend improvements to workflows, processes, and data management
Required Qualifications
- BSc in Business Administration or BEng in any Engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role and 3+ years in a supervisory or team lead position
- Basic technical understanding (hydraulics, electrical, mechanical)
- Proven experience managing administrative and technical teams
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in service management software and MS Office 365
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Valid Nigerian driver's license
