About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic SEO Manager to join our expanding team. As our SEO Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that boost organic growth for our organization and our clients.

You'll collaborate with our content, design, and development teams to ensure all digital assets are optimized for search and deliver sustainable traffic growth. This is a hybrid role where you'll work remotely most of the time but must be available for occasional in-office collaboration at our Ilupeju office in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies for company and client projects
• Identify high-value keywords and optimize content around them through comprehensive keyword research
• Optimize website structures, metadata, internal linking, and content for maximum visibility
• Collaborate with developers to ensure proper site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability
• Work with content writers to ensure blog posts, landing pages, and marketing content are SEO-friendly
• Implement ethical link-building strategies to improve domain authority
• Track SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
• Prepare regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations
• Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in a digital agency or tech company
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Moz
• Solid understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research methods
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
• Ability to analyze data and present insights in a clear and actionable manner
• Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms (preferred)
