Senior Supervisor (Operations / Maintenance / Contract Engineer) at Vagan Oil & Gas Limited

Position Overview

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking an experienced professional to join as Senior Supervisor in Operations and Maintenance. This role requires strong leadership capabilities and extensive field experience in pipeline operations within the oil and gas industry.

Key Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required
• 6 to 8 years of experience as a Pipeline Field Operations/Maintenance Support Technician, OR
• 10 years of experience in materials procurement and inventory management supporting pipeline operations in an oil and gas company
• Supervised at least 5 in-service pipeline repairs spanning land, swamp, and offshore terrain

Technical Skills

• Proficient in SAP and supply chain systems
• Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS) and process documents
• Knowledge of permit systems management and operation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Understanding of pipeline operations and maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of pressure, volume, flow rate, and other operational variables

• Problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Site project supervision and commissioning experience
• Experience leading and supervising field personnel
• On-site hazard identification and risk assessment capability

• Flexibility and adaptability

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of field personnel and vendors to deliver simple and complex activities at work site
• Manage shutdown permit and isolation management processes
• Apply emergency response procedures where necessary
• Report and close out UA/UC matters
• Serve as Permit to Work (PTW) signatory
• Apply HSSE policy and relevant legislation applicable to crude oil transfer and export
