About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java or Go (Golang) and modern backend technologies. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems that power our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems, microservices, and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) or Go
• Architect, implement, and maintain database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis)
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services securely and efficiently
• Implement CI/CD, automated testing, and code review processes
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize deployments, monitoring, and scaling
• Participate in technical design sessions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Ensure systems meet high standards of performance, reliability, and security
• Mentor junior developers and promote best coding practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) or Go (Golang)
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git, unit testing frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean)
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS)
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of system security, API gateway design, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
