## Title: Senior Sales Engineer

General Function & Key Objectives

Ensure business goals are met in terms of product sales, sales growth, market share improvement, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the assigned territory.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed sales budget for RPM brands and grow RPM sales
  • Develop sales in the assigned industry segment through direct sales visits and contracted freelancers if needed
  • Grow the sales of Fuchs lubricants in the Nigerian market
  • Implement guided sales strategy to achieve growth and sales targets
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close account management and attention to their needs
  • Assess and define customer applications to ensure the correct product is represented with integrity
  • Promote RPM brands through value-based sales process
  • Interact actively with customers to serve as their consultant for our products
  • Follow up with existing customers demonstrating high commitment and professionalism
  • Set and maintain a coherent and clear sales activity agenda
  • Protect and promote RPM price positioning and premium positioning
  • Achieve minimum gross contribution of 30%
  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly on activities and information collected using sales tools and databases (customers, competitors, actions in progress)
  • Support sales through site surveys and provide technical advice to existing and new potential customers
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge on product technologies and applications
  • Support the complete sales process including prospecting, discussions, demonstrations, exhibitions, reference selling, and negotiation to achieve targets

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in sales of machines and parts (compressors, pumps, valves, conveyors, belts)
