Senior Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for cost control and project efficiency in construction? We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Periwinkle Residences in Lagos and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
• Manage project costs, perform value engineering, and monitor contract variations
• Oversee procurement processes and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Conduct site visits, valuations, and progress reports
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and legal regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams
• Maintain a proven track record in cost management, contract administration, and commercial reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience
• MNIQS membership required
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT)
• Proficiency in software tools such as CostX, Candy, or advanced Excel
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Membership of a professional body (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an added advantage
