Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and checklists for construction projects
• Ensure quality control plans align with project requirements and industry standards
• Conduct regular inspections of construction work, including materials, equipment, and workmanship
• Perform or oversee testing of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications
• Collaborate with construction teams to rectify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports
• Provide regular quality reports to project managers and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with relevant construction industry regulations, standards, and codes
• Stay up-to-date with changes to regulations and standards
• Work closely with construction teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
• Communicate quality issues and concerns effectively
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance quality control

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in QA/QC engineering in construction (12+ years)
• Strong knowledge of construction quality control principles, industry standards, and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
