Senior QA Engineer

The Role

• Lead quality assurance for a real-time betting platform handling live odds, instant payments, and thousands of concurrent users. You'll build QA processes from scratch, automate everything possible, and ensure our users have a flawless experience whether they're betting on Premier League or NPFL.

What You'll Own Quality Strategy & Leadership

• Design QA strategy for web, mobile, and backend systems

• Build testing frameworks for real-time betting features

• Implement shift-left testing practices across engineering team

• Define quality metrics and acceptance criteria

• Lead QA for critical releases and major features

• Mentor developers on testing best practices

Test Automation Excellence

• Build automated test suites covering 80%+ of critical paths

• Implement E2E testing for complex betting workflows

• Create performance testing for 10,000+ concurrent users

• Automate regression testing across platforms

• Design API testing frameworks for microservices

• Implement continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines

Specialized Testing Domains

• Payment Testing: Validate deposits, withdrawals, wallet operations

• Real-time Testing: Verify live odds updates, WebSocket connections

• Load Testing: Ensure system handles peak match-day traffic

• Security Testing: Validate authentication, authorization, data protection

• Localization Testing: Multi-language and currency support

• Cross-platform Testing: iOS, Android, Web consistency

Manual & Exploratory Testing

• Design test cases for complex betting scenarios

• Perform exploratory testing on new features

• Validate UI/UX across different devices and networks

• Test edge cases in poor connectivity conditions

• Verify compliance with regulatory requirements

• Coordinate UAT with stakeholders

Critical Scenarios You'll Test

• Bet placement during odds fluctuation

• Payment processing during network issues

• System behavior during 50,000 concurrent bets

• App performance on low-end Android devices

• Platform stability during live match updates

• Data consistency across distributed systems

• Time-sensitive bet cutoffs and settlements

Required Skills

• 5+ years QA experience with 2+ years in senior roles

• Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

• Mobile testing experience (React Native, Appium, Detox)
