Role Description
- Lead the planning, execution, and technical delivery of engineering projects to ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving project demands.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams—including engineering, procurement, construction, and supply chain—to achieve project milestones.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, technical documents, and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for technical, schedule, and cost risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot engineering problems and proactively resolve project-related technical issues.
- Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and senior leadership.
- Prepare and present status reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
- Ensure engineering activities and deliverables comply with relevant EPCOM industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Support project safety programs and ensure quality assurance practices are followed.
- Monitor project performance against plan and make necessary adjustments to keep project execution within budget and timelines.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications, vendor documentation, and material selections.
- Assist in coordinating construction activities and resolving technical matters during execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or related field).
- 7+ years of engineering experience, with at least 4 years in project engineering roles.
- Proven experience managing medium‑to‑large scale engineering projects from concept through execution.
- Experience in EPC, EPCM, or EPCOM environments is strongly preferred.
- Professional certifications (PMP, PE, etc.) are an added advantage.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
