Position Overview:
- This role is a high-level commercial role that requires a proactive, results-driven professioner that will be responsible for driving revenue growth, and comfortable with complex B2B sales cycles.
- The job holder will be responsible for the commercial efforts to expand market share within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector and the development of strategic partnerships with beverage brands, managing high-value, complex, B2B sales cycles, coordinating with production and marketing teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions
- Leading and managing key accounts, shaping sales strategies for packaging solutions (such as preforms, closures, or flexible packaging) specifically targeted at food and beverage (F&B) manufacturers.
- Achievement of annual sales volume and revenue targets.
- New business development (acquisition of new beverage clients).
- Customer retention rates and account growth (volume/value).
- Accuracy of sales forecasts.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA may be added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 10–15+ years of sales experience within the packaging industry, with specific expertise in rigid/flexible packaging for beverage or FMCG clients.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of packaging materials (PET, aluminum, carton), production processes, and industry quality standards.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a sales team.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and B2B relationship-building skills.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to meet clients across the Country.
