About the Role
The Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM) in Lagos seeks a qualified and passionate Senior Lecturer to join the MSc Software Engineering program. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing academic program through teaching, research, and service responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, a proven record of research and publication, and significant teaching experience at the postgraduate level.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced courses in the MSc Software Engineering program
- Provide leadership in curriculum development, ensuring relevance to industry needs
- Mentor and guide postgraduate students in their academic and professional pursuits
- Engage in cutting-edge research and contribute to the university's research objectives
- Contribute to the academic community through committee work, program development, and other university service activities
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field from a reputable institution
- Outstanding record of scholarly publications in top-tier journals and conferences
- Extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development at the postgraduate level
- Proven ability to mentor and supervise graduate students
- Active involvement in professional organizations related to Software Engineering
