## Title: Senior Financial Manager

Job Overview

The Senior Financial Manager will oversee the financial operations of the NGO and work closely with the CEO to develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures that ensure efficient financial management. This position offers significant opportunities for career growth and leadership development.

The Senior Financial Manager will lead a team of financial professionals, provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting, and play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and risk management for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the NGO's financial strategic vision, policies, and procedures to support overall goals and objectives
  • Oversee all financial operations of the organization and create and implement effective and efficient structures
  • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals
  • Conduct high-level budgeting aligned with strategic vision and organizational objectives
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analysis to the CEO and Board
  • Manage financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators, identifying areas of concern and suggesting corrective actions
  • Oversee Income Tax and VAT processes and workings
  • Oversee payroll operations for the organization
  • Oversee Human Resource functions of the organization
  • Manage financial relationships with external parties, including banks, auditors, and financial institutions
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial regulations applicable to the NGO
  • Conduct regular financial risk assessments, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of strong internal controls and financial systems
  • Manage and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and adherence to audit requirements
