Senior Finance Officer at Anap Jets

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Finance Officer to join our finance team in a dynamic private aviation environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting, budgeting, treasury, and revenue assurance expertise, with proven experience in aviation or with industry leaders in accounting firms. This role requires excellent Excel proficiency, presentation skills, and a solid understanding of end-to-end finance operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Assist in timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
• Support IFRS-aligned financial statement preparation and audit processes
• Ensure proper reconciliation of ledgers, intercompany balances, and control accounts
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Conduct variance analysis to guide management decisions on cost and revenue performance

Treasury & Cashflow

• Track loan repayments, interest accruals, and FX exposure
• Ensure proper treasury reporting

Revenue Assurance

• Monitor charter, jet card, and contract revenues for completeness and accuracy
• Review flight and billing data to ensure correct revenue recognition
• Coordinate with operations and commercial teams to close revenue gaps

Process & Systems

• Maintain and improve finance processes to enhance accuracy and turnaround time
• Use advanced Excel tools for analysis, dashboards, and management presentations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen internal controls and cost efficiency

Requirements

Education

• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• M.Sc. in Finance or Accounting is an added advantage

Professional Qualification

• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA)

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience
• Prior experience in aviation, airline, or Big 4 audit firm is highly desirable
