Senior Cyber Security Architect

Position Overview

Dataflex seeks a Senior Cyber Security Architect to lead the planning, design, and oversight of the organization's security infrastructure. You will be critical in defending complex, hybrid, and cloud-native environments against evolving threats.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-wide security strategies and multi-year roadmaps that align with business objectives and risk tolerance
• Create detailed security blueprints for networks and cloud environments
• Conduct rigorous architecture assessments and threat modeling to identify design gaps in new and existing systems
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and executives, translating complex cyber risks into business-impact language for board-level decision-making
• Research and select advanced security tools (e.g., SIEM, IAM, SASE) to modernize the defense stack
• Lead and coach security engineers and junior architects to foster a security-first culture across the organization

Required Experience & Education

• At least 5 years in information security, with at least 3 years specifically in a security architecture or senior engineering role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP)
• Encryption standards and identity management (OAuth, SAML)
• Secure software development lifecycles (DevSecOps)
