Senior Construction Engineer, Onshore Fab-yard (Local) at Fortis Engineering Services

Position Overview

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to deliver construction engineering activities and deliverables for assigned projects while ensuring timely completion to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver construction engineering scope for assigned EPC projects
• Work within a multi-discipline project team, providing support to ensure quality work delivery on schedule
• Guide contractor teams in delivering construction in EPC systems and equipment packages in line with project specifications
• Deliver the onshore fabrication scope of assigned projects
• Manage planning, design, direction, and supervision of construction projects from early engineering through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover
• Drive implementation of construction engineering requirements in design, fabrication, testing, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases
• Facilitate constructability and construction readiness reviews
• Conduct design reviews to ensure constructability requirements are embedded and designs are safe
• Develop construction execution strategy, construction execution plans, and workface execution plans
• Review and inspect all drawings and designs prior to implementation
• Ensure final products meet applicable code requirements, project scope of work, and specifications
• Serve as subject matter expert on constructability requirements
• Complete routine tests to ensure compliance with all legal regulations
• Adhere to and implement company guidelines on Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) and Ethics & Compliance
