Senior Business Analyst at Estuary Business Solutions (EBS)

Role Overview

This is a contract-based hybrid role located in Lagos, Nigeria, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, defining business requirements, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to support decision-making and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis

• Provide actionable insights to help stakeholders minimize costs and enhance financial efficiency
• Identify potential areas for cost reduction or process improvements within proposed projects
• Conduct thorough assessments of proposed projects to determine their financial feasibility
• Analyze potential costs, benefits, and risks associated with each project to guide investment decisions
• Use financial modeling techniques to project future costs and benefits over time
• Provide forecasts that help stakeholders understand the long-term financial implications of implementing or rejecting a project
• Interpret financial metrics to assess whether a project aligns with the organization's financial objectives and risk tolerance
• Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure cost-related strategies align with organizational priorities

Process Optimization & Documentation

• Review and assess current workflows to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks
• Work with departments to ensure an in-depth understanding of core processes
• Gather data and insights to understand how processes impact operational effectiveness
• Create detailed documentation of workflows, business rules, and operational procedures
• Develop clear and comprehensive process flow diagrams to map each step
• Maintain and update documentation to reflect current operational procedures

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and requirements
• Deliver actionable insights to support decision-making and improve business performance
