Job Summary

We are seeking a suitably competent, dedicated, intelligent, detail-oriented, and resourceful Senior Accountant to join our team. The incumbent will maintain the integrity of financial information, which serves as input into performance reports.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy. This is a hands-on, internal customer-facing role requiring excellent technical and analytical skills, prioritization, responsiveness, customer service, and verbal communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, management, and vision to the Firm's financial structure and support efforts to ensure maximum profit and return on investments
• Devise and implement financial strategies and develop operational financial structures and systems
• Drive the budgetary process to ensure all budgets adequately reflect periodic resource requirements and revenue estimates for the Firm
• Coordinate periodic financial performance monitoring and reporting activities of the Firm
• Review all finance and accounting transactions and ensure processes and procedures follow best practice standards consistently across all contracts
• Coordinate all activities between the Firm and subsidiary accounts functions, ensuring seamless integration of processes while maintaining the integrity of financial information
• Comply with regulatory and statutory requirements; monitor the Firm's financial books and position and sign off on adjustments to ensure effective controls
• Plan and prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Review and report monthly management accounts and cash control
