About the Role

An established company is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead and manage all finance activities across the organization and affiliated companies. This position combines strategic financial planning with hands-on accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and manage all finance activities including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations
• Perform bookkeeping and monthly reporting under IFRS in compliance with deadlines
• Analyze actual versus budgeted results and provide recommendations to general management, senior leadership, and the board
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax reports, ensuring timely filings and payments
• Manage treasury functions including vendor payments and cash handling and control
• Execute monthly staff payroll processing, tax deductions, and related calculations
• Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and analyze FOREX gains/losses
• Supervise and perform monthly and year-end stock takings and inventory valuations as applicable
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and control documentation
• Manage external audit processes and ensure timely completion
• Maintain and manage the company assets register
• Verify adequate insurance coverage for all organizational assets
• Collaborate effectively with team members across all organizational levels

Required Skills and Qualities

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong financial reconciliation expertise
• Proven ability to manage time-bound, rolling commitments
• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to supervise and perform accounting duties independently or in a supervisory capacity
• Capacity to engage effectively with staff at all organizational levels
