About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Account Officer for a leading FinTech company transforming financial access across Nigeria and Africa. This is an in-person, mid-level sales and client management position based in Lagos and Abuja, designed for a disciplined performer who excels at revenue generation, client relationship management, and portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of clients, driving adoption, retention, and revenue growth
- Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction, quick issue resolution, and continuous business engagement
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and activate upsell and cross-sell strategies
- Ensure seamless onboarding, usage support, and long-term engagement to improve customer lifetime value
- Support field sales activities, client visits, activations, and weekly revenue-focused follow-ups
- Track account performance, submit weekly sales reports, and provide insights that support decision-making
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles within fintech, banking, telecommunications, or technology
- Proven ability to meet revenue targets, build pipelines, and manage high-volume accounts
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to build trust-based relationships
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities; able to track metrics, manage documentation, and provide insight-driven recommendations
- Based in Lagos or Abuja with strong knowledge of local markets and customer patterns
