Security Supervisor at Champion Breweries

About the Role

An established company is recruiting a highly motivated and dedicated Security Supervisor to join our team and lead security operations across our brewery facilities. As part of our strategic expansion and commitment to commercial excellence, this role is integral to maintaining a secure and compliant environment.

The Security Supervisor will oversee all security activities, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and infrastructure. This position requires a proactive leader with strong operational oversight and crisis management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of security personnel
• Enforce access control protocols for staff, visitors, and vehicles
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents
• Lead investigations and escalate critical issues appropriately
• Train and mentor security staff on brewery-specific protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and access logs
• Safeguard company assets during loading/unloading and routine operations
• Act as first responder during emergencies and coordinate evacuation procedures
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Reporting Structure

The Security Supervisor will report to the Company Security Manager.

Required Qualifications

• OND, HND, or BSc in Criminology, Security Studies, or a related field
• Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant experience in industrial or corporate security (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing)
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in security technologies (CCTV, access control systems)
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Ability to manage crises and work effectively under pressure
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols and incident reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in security or safety (e.g., NSCDC/Police training)
