## Title: Security Operations & HR Officer

About the Role

Bemil Nigeria Limited is seeking a dynamic Security Operations & HR Officer to join our expanding team in Lagos. This role combines human resources management with security operations oversight, requiring a professional who can manage recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and administrative responsibilities.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Recruit candidates for employment, particularly for internal office positions, while providing support and oversight of recruitment conducted by resourcing officers
  • Screen resourced and recruited candidates for training
  • Administer company employment forms and guide candidates through proper completion
  • Conduct orientation programs for new staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to staff records
  • Administer all onboarding materials upon new staff resumption

Training & Employee Relations

  • Oversee employee orientation and training programs
  • Serve as liaison between employees and management
  • Manage and address employee complaints
  • Conduct communications and interpersonal skills training
  • Arrange employee physical examinations
  • Prepare reports and manage leave, leave allowance, and other staff entitlements

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure accurate and timely attendance entry and submission
  • Submit all documentation for new staff before deployment
  • Assist with overtime computations and payroll documentation submissions
  • Maintain accuracy of staff information
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support vetting officers with staff information for necessary vetting and investigations

Administration & Vendor Management

  • Maintain full accountability for all company property at the branch office
  • Supervise administrative staff including drivers, cleaners, guards, and assistants
  • Oversee maintenance of official vehicles, motorbikes, computers, phones, and other equipment
  • Collaborate with other departments on voucher payments and related matters
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed
