Job Summary

A reputable organization seeks a highly skilled, patriotic, and physically capable Security Officer (Bodyguard) to provide close protection and ensure the safety of our principal in both professional and personal settings. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated protector and trusted team member who upholds discretion, discipline, and absolute loyalty at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide close personal protection for the principal in all environments including professional, political, business, and social settings
• Maintain constant situational awareness and proactively identify and mitigate potential threats
• Safely escort and secure the principal during travel, meetings, and public engagements
• Operate and maintain security equipment, surveillance systems, and communication apparatus
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, private security networks, and security agencies as necessary
• Conduct advance reconnaissance of venues and travel routes to ensure safety and minimize risk
• Build and maintain strong professional contacts and networks
• Preserve confidentiality and exercise the highest level of discretion at all times

Requirements

• Minimum height of 6 ft 2 in (188 cm)
• Fit physical build with the stamina to manage extended security duties
• Preferably residing within Victoria Island and surrounding suburbs (Lagos Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, Yaba)
• Energetic, alert, and capable of working long and irregular hours
• Proficiency in security systems, surveillance tools, defensive tactics, and protective driving
• Strong understanding of Nigeria's socio-political landscape, security risks, and cultural sensitivities
• Dedicated and patriotic with unwavering loyalty
