About This Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Security Guard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor designated areas on foot or via surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to identify and deter suspicious or unlawful activity
• Manage entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and property to ensure only authorized individuals gain access
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, accidents, and security breaches, and coordinate with relevant authorities when necessary
• Enforce the rules and security policies of the organization or facility to maintain order and safety
• Prepare accurate and detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security issues for management
• Provide guidance, information, and assistance to employees and visitors while maintaining site security
• Operate and test security systems, including metal detectors and other scanning equipment
• Safeguard physical assets, such as cash or valuables, from theft or damage
• Assist with health and safety procedures, including first aid and evacuation procedures if required

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in security or related field

Compensation

N50,000 - N60,000 Monthly
