Job Summary
We are hiring a Security Officer who will be responsible for protecting the lives and properties of staff and organizational assets. This role involves implementing security strategies, managing risk assessment and mitigation, and ensuring organizational compliance with regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee strategies to assess and mitigate risk, safeguarding the organization and its assets
- Manage crisis situations and day-to-day security operations
- Develop, implement, and maintain security processes and policies
- Identify and reduce security risks while limiting liability and exposure to informational, physical, and financial threats
- Ensure the organization remains compliant with local, national, and global regulations, particularly in privacy, health, and safety
- Conduct research and execute security management solutions to maintain organizational safety
Required Qualifications
- SSCE qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of security experience

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- In-depth knowledge of security networking
