About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Security Area Operations Manager to oversee regional security operations and strategy implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Security Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement regional security operations plans aligned with organisational security strategy
• Identify risks and vulnerabilities across sites and create mitigation plans
• Conduct regular threat assessments, risk analysis, and incident trend monitoring

Operational Oversight

• Manage day-to-day security operations across all sites within the region
• Ensure consistent application of policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans
• Oversee performance of local security teams and third-party vendors

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor regional security personnel, ensuring a culture of safety and responsiveness
• Manage recruitment, training, and development of security staff
• Provide leadership during security incidents and crisis situations

Vendor & Budget Management

• Manage contracts and relationships with third-party security service providers
• Oversee regional security budget, ensuring cost-effective deployment of resources

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external agencies where required
• Prepare reports on regional security performance, incidents, and metrics for senior leadership

Collaboration & Communication

• Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory bodies
• Work cross-functionally with HR, Facilities, Legal, and other departments
