About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of School Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams, record medical histories, and monitor vital signs to assess patients' needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications and treatments, including IVs, and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
• Monitor patient progress, observe symptoms, and maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Provide education on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques to patients and families
• Assist clinicians during medical exams, diagnostic tests, and other procedures
• Collect blood, urine, and other bodily fluid samples for laboratory testing
• Promote patient wellness through counseling and health education
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and basic life support
• Advocate for patient rights, dignity, and autonomy
• Supervise other nursing staff, such as LPNs and nursing assistants

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
• 2-10 years of professional nursing experience
