Position Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our sales team. The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for actively following up on leads, nurturing prospects, and converting them into long-term customers.
Location
Mainland, Lagos, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients through calls, emails, and meetings to understand their needs and present suitable solutions
- Follow up diligently on all received leads to move them through the sales funnel
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of interactions with leads
- Assist in qualifying leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT)
- Schedule and coordinate product demos or meetings between prospects and senior sales personnel as needed
- Support the sales team in closing deals by providing relevant documentation and client information
- Work closely with marketing to understand current campaigns and ensure timely lead generation follow-up
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead engagement and conversion
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on lead quality and client objections
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, business development, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CRM tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in engaging with clients via phone, email, and in person
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Strong personal integrity, attested by character references
