About the Role
An established company is recruiting a Sales Representative to drive sales and revenue for TVs and Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) in the Lagos market. This role combines direct customer engagement, product expertise, and channel management to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for TVs and SDA products
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to customers
Customer Engagement
- Provide expert advice on TV specifications (4K, OLED, Smart TVs) and appliance functionality
- Handle customer objections and close deals effectively
- Build long-term relationships with repeat buyers and businesses
Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on industry trends (e.g., QLED vs. OLED, smart home integration)
- Train on new product launches and promotions
Channel Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers
- Demonstrate familiarity with the market structure in Nigeria
Reporting & Feedback
- Track sales data, customer preferences, and competitor activity
- Report inventory needs and market gaps to management
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in consumer electronics sales (TVs, appliances, or related fields)
- Familiarity with TV technologies (HDR, refresh rates) and SDA brands
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Persuasive, energetic, and customer-focused approach
- Strong relationship-building abilities with wholesalers and retailers
- Ability to track and analyze sales data and market trends
