About the Role

Max African Publishers Limited is seeking qualified Sales Representatives to join our team across multiple locations in Nigeria.

Work Locations

Abeokuta, Osun, Ilorin, Ekiti, Ondo, Ibadan, Oyo, Ogbomosho, and Saki

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve a range of customers by handling enquiries and identifying customer needs
• Offer advice and recommend books to customers as appropriate
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current titles and market changes
• Process customer orders and book reservations
• Sell from catalogue to customers
• Negotiate prices and process book deliveries and returns
• Maintain commercial awareness by identifying business and promotional opportunities
• Assist with book events, including organizing talks, signing sessions, and reading groups
• Liaise with teachers and library staff regarding set texts in academic shops
• Coordinate with external account holders such as schools, councils, and companies
• Review sales performance and meet sales targets

Requirements

• OND qualification
• 2 years of relevant experience
