About the Role
Energy Integrity and Power Solutions (EIPS) is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for the marine sector. The successful candidate will be a marine industry veteran who understands the technical needs and operational challenges of this sector and can effectively translate those needs into valuable solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets and expand EIPS's market share within the Nigerian marine sector
- Identify, build, and maintain robust long-term relationships with key decision-makers (Technical Managers, Fleet Directors, Procurement Heads) among Nigerian and international vessel owners and operators
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments and present complex technical solutions clearly, linking offerings to specific client operational requirements, cost savings, and regulatory compliance
- Continuously monitor the Nigerian maritime landscape, including regulatory changes (NIMASA, Nigerian Ports Authority), competitive activities, and emerging technical needs
- Lead the preparation of high-quality technical proposals, tender submissions, and negotiate contracts to successful closure
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management reports, and market feedback to senior management
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive sales experience in the Nigerian marine, maritime, or offshore oil & gas sector
- Deep, firsthand understanding of the operational structure, procurement processes, and key technical challenges faced by vessel owners and operators (e.g., PSVs, OSVs, Tankers, Cargo Vessels) in Nigerian waters
- Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions (e.g., MRO services, specialized equipment, diagnostic software)
