A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Position Overview:
  • Our client is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and distribution effectiveness within the assigned territory.
  • The role involves leading the sales team, managingdistributors and key accounts, executing sales strategies, and ensuring achievement of volume,revenue, and market share targets in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with company sales targets.
  • Drive volume, value, and revenue growth across all FMCG product categories.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics to inform sales strategies.
  • Ensure effective route-to-market execution, including direct sales and distributor channels.
Distributor & Channel Management:
  • Recruit, manage, and evaluate distributors, wholesalers, and key retail partners.
  • Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and merchandising across all outlets.
  • Monitor distributor stock levels, sell-in and sell-out performance.
  • Resolve trade issues and maintain strong trade relationships.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
  • Lead, coach, and supervise Sales Executives, Territory Sales Officers, and merchandisers.
  • Set individual sales targets and monitor performance against KPIs.
  • Conduct regular field visits, market audits, and performance reviews.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and results.
Customer & Key Account Management:
  • Manage key accounts, modern trade, and institutional customers where applicable.
  • Negotiate trade terms, promotions, and volume deals in line with company policy.
  • Ensure effective execution of trade promotions and campaigns.
Reporting & Coordination:
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Track sales performance, collections, and outstanding receivables.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and product availability.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Sales volume achievement.
  • Revenue and value growth vs. target.
  • Market coverage and outlet expansion.
  • Distribution reach (numeric and weighted distribution)
  • Market share growth within territory.
  • Distributor performance and stock turnover days.
