As a Sales Executive (ATG) in an engineering context, you will function as a Sales Engineer, bridging the gap between complex technical products and services and customer needs. You will combine sales skills with engineering expertise to deliver specialized solutions. ATG refers to "Advanced Technology Group," implying a focus on cutting-edge engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify opportunities by researching and prospecting new clients (e.g., builders, contractors, research institutions) to generate qualified sales leads
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to each client's specific needs, showcasing how solutions address their challenges
- Conduct needs analysis with customers and internal engineers to understand challenges and propose customized technical solutions
- Act as a liaison between clients and product/engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met and provide feedback for product enhancements
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contract terms, and close sales deals to meet and exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for repeat business and upgrades
- Provide or coordinate post-sales technical assistance and support, including troubleshooting and customer training, to ensure successful implementation
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments; provide regular reports and forecasts to management using CRM tools
